FARM LABORERS' STRIKE.

ROME, May 8. Farm laborers striking m the Verona province • besieged the estate of Baron Monti di Brescia, with a view to preventing the feeding of live stock. As the .stock were dying of hunger carabinieri were despatched to raise the siege, when an armed conflict took place, two strikers being killed and 10 seriously wounded.

A similar siege took plac© on the Marcheso di Canossa's estat© at Villa Franca. Ten carahinieri and 20 peasants were wounded.
