VISIT TO NELSON.

(Per Press Association.) NELSON, thiß day. Crowds of people have arrived m town from the country districts to take part m the Nelson welcome to the Prince. The streets are gay with bunting and decorations. The principal attention has been paid to Trafalgar street, oil avenue, having been created by the erection of two rows of obelisks, . all gaily decorated! A civic welcome is to take place on the church stops, the Prince being later entertained at afternoon' tea, and then he will inspect, the returned soldiers and will meet m the School of Music the settlers who arrived m 1542. This will be followed by a levee, and then a ball m the evening. School children will lino the streets, but the Prince has requested that, he specially meet all together on Tuesday -morning, prior to his departure for the West Coast. There is to be a special display of .fireworks, also music by bands and a torch-light procession m the evening.
