There was a fair attendance- of members on the above club's green."on-Satur-day afternoon. The green is now m splendid order, and conscqueittly the games were much enjoyed. Rothwell (wkip), aaid after an in.teresting contest was won by Jenkins by 27 to 21V The game opened sensationally; Jenkins scoring 6 on the first hp.ad,.and iivthe iiext ; three heads scored -.making the board read: Jenkins 14, Rothwell nil. Thelatter then got a start,, .and at the 13' h head Jenkins was only 3 vp — 18 to 15.
