ACQUnrTAL OF DE VEULLE. ; (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association* LONDON, April 5. ■ De Veulle has been acquitted of the charge of manslaughter m connection with .the death pf the actress Billje Cnrleton. Tlie defence contended that there was no proof that death was due to cocaine, and alternatively that , there was no proof that De Veulle supplied it. A further charge is pending of conspiracy m connection with the case.
