(Australian and N.Z. Cable Association! LONDON, April 5. The Daily Express states that Sir Arthur Stanley, president of the Board 1 of Trade, is resigning on account of illhealth.
The Liberals met at the House of Commons and rejected a proposal to form two i distinct groups. Independent and Coalition Liberals. The meeting decided to^ ask Mi*. Lloyd George to accept the chairmanship of the non-official Liberals.
It is expected that Sir Albert Stanley will be able to resume his Ministerial duties shortly. Meanwhile Sir Auckland Geddes is acting president of the Board of Trade.
