' At the stock sale at Matawhero today the following sales were effected up to lunch time: — Fat sheep: 16 ewes 235, 10 ewes' 2Bs', 20 lambs 18s 9d, 34, ewes 25s sd, 4 ewes and 2, wethers (down x) 32s 4d, 2 ewes (woolly.) '30&. Cattle : No demand for fat cattle ; 8 pens were offered and only 1 was sold : 1 steer (Jersey x small)) £6 ss. Pigs: 6 pens were offered, and .all sold, -there i being a .. good demand, as follows :'"•'_- stow' (empty-- fair) ,50s, ' 1 do 50s, 1 baconer (good) 50s, 2 porkers (good) 18s, 2 weaners (fair) 10s., 3 slips (good) 21s.
