CAMPAIGN AGAINST TURKS.
STATEMENTS BY PRISONERS,
LONDON, Sept. 9. Turkish prisoners at Alexandria were barefooted and tattered. They cursed the war, and alleged that they had ohly learned that they were fighting against the French and English a few days ago, and were stupefied to hear it, because England had always protected Turkey.
