GISBORNE ROWING CLUB.

•mm The usual weekly meeting of the committee of the Gisborne Rowing Club was held last night. Present : Messrs Hansen (m the chair), Gerrard, Langridge, Sweet, Quigley, Fraser, Sceats, and Gardner. Messrs Harries and Orr were elected active members. The draw for the first two rounds of the Pettie and Buscke fours resulted as- follows :—Thursday : Riddell rows Sweet, Pycroft rows Fi-omm. Friday : Stevenson rows Hud- - son, Fraser rows Langridge. Porter i rows the winner of Pycroft and Fromm. "Races for the Cox fours for B grade and the Cox double sculls and Buscke sculling cup for A grade will close on Tuesday next at 5 p.m. No late entries will be received for these races. Messrs Langridge an<l Gerrard were appointed a visiting committee for the ensuing week.
