SINCE BABY CAME.
Since Baby came m last mid-May I have, not seen -a single play. The newer books remain unread — A little life I've conned instead, So full of heavenly, lines, and sweet From silken, head to rose-pihk feet. Since Baby came, with needs so great, My hats and frocks are out of date : Her carriage, cot and garments small Have swaljowed up our "little all; But other w things % gladly miss . My baby's, blossom face to kiss. Since Baby came a look of home Upon bur tiny house has come : Her toys .are scattered here and: there, Hex little touch is everywhere ; . And Love is dearer, holier flame, j. And brighter burns — since came. ; ' e.U. Daily Chronicle.
