HOCKEY REFEREES.
The Hockoy "Referees' Association mot last evening. Mir- Gendall, Wellington, was appointed delegate for the- local; Association to the New Zealand Hockey ' Referees' Association. .<■:.. Messrs Stace and Armstrong were nomiiiated to referee m the representative match between * the Poverty Bay Ladies and the English team. : The referees for Saturday will bo: — Seniors (3.15 p.m.): Mercantile v. West End, Messrs Daley and Farquhar. Junitirs (2 p.m.): Mercantile A v. Civil Servants. Messrs Howell and Duncan. The N.z. Hockey Association wrote stating that the words "ajm the ball," rule 12, should , be deleted.
