OPERA HOUSE PICTURES.
The new "programme at the Opera House met with marked approval on Saturday evening. Each number was interesting and entertaining, and the special music quit© up to the Opera House Style. The programme qpened with everyone's favorite, ."Gaumont Graphic," , which show* 'all the best of the world's ' news. ""' Following *was a gloriously colored Pathe drama "Love Ye One Another." A; film -of intense interest is "Great Progress m Aviation." The film depicts an aerodrome AVith two masts m the centre, and a wire stretched between them. As the monoplane approaches, the pilot flew under the wire,., an apparatus fixed to the top of hjs' wings clasping it, and after running along for a short distance, the machine becomes suspended m midair. The pilot 1 starts the motor again, the aeronlane slides along the wire until it comes to the other end, when it automatically releases itself and continues its flight. This device allows an. aeroplane to . ' iandJl__on or start from a shipjit sea, JKl.any other difficult position, with the greatest ease. The outstanding feature* Of the progtamme ip a huge '"MonOpole" drama, "Seed"' df "the 'Fathers." Miss Marion Leoii&rd is playing the lead m this subject, and her acting is splendid: The. photography is amongst the best seen here. The story is based upon the puz_iing question of heredity. Tt portrays' m a vivid and thrilling scries of masterful, scenes how r the seed of crime hag been carried from father to son <'unto, the. third and fourth generation" m spite of environment and prosperity.
