(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. At a meeting of the Council of the Royal Humane Society last night, the following awards were granted:— . Timothy Kerlihy, rescue from drowning at Waikari, August 7, silver medal. Joseph H. fliggison silyer medal, and Constable Geo. Baker bronze medal, for rescue from burning house at Featherston on March 28. « Frank Bell, letter of commendation for preventing A. Crawford from wandering into the bush at Tahora on May 5. Nurse McFarlane, a framed certificate for assisting those hurt in the derailment of the Taringamutu Co.'s train on September 3. R. Elwin, third offfcer of the Maori, silver medal and framed certificate for rescue from drowning at Lyttelton on May 8. Jas. Tait, letter of commendation for rescue from drowning at Waikari on February 7. Arthur Lukey, framed certificate for rescue of girl from drowning at Caroline Bay, Timaru, on March 7.
