RECORD BUILDING.
11-ROOMED VILLA ERECTED, IN LESS THAN SIX DAYS. / LONDON, April 5. What is probably a "record" m vapid house building has just been established at Olympia, London, where a 1 eleveiiroomed villa has been erected m less than six days. A staff of expert workmen was employed and they entered upon their task with the keenness of sportsmen. The work involved the handling -if 250 tons of material and the placing m position of 75,000 bricks. The .tiling of the villa was accomplished m twenty hours, dur- 1 ing which time were fixed 8500 hanging tiles oh the walls and tiles on' the roofs,, gables, eaves, etc.. This ideal house, which will be the central feature of the Ideal Home Exhibition, to be held from April 12 to April 30, possesses the latest telephone number m the London district. Last night the villa, which is ..less than a^jyeek, old, was illuminated* by eleetrie light, and the telephone bell was^'riilgifig 'm answer to calls for Westerii '5392. , !
