The body of James Findlater, a farmer" of Ratanui, aged 11, who left his home on Wednesday afternoon, was recovered at Catlins Bay this morning.
A distressing 1 accident occurred to-day during loading operations m connection with the Tyser Co.'» Marere m the roadstead. A quarter of beef fell from the sling, and 'landed on a married man named William Burtori, one of Messrs Nelson Bros.' hands. His face was shockingly crushed. He was brought ashore, and was taken to the hospital m the ambulance.
