The building on tho female side will be raised to two storeys, with accommodation for 40 extra patients, and at the rear a new ward will be built for 70 or 80 patients. Another building to be erected will: accommodate at least 70 patients. C. Warnford, aged 72, watchman at Goldie's timber mill railway .wharf, has been received at the hospital withserious injuries. He was m an unconscious condition, and- when he recovered consciousness he was unable to give any account of his condition. He is presumably the victim of a fall or an assault.
