THE KOOMBANA INQUIRY. (Press Assn.—By Telegraph. — Copyright.) PERTH, April 26. The Marine Court has opened an injuiry into the loss of the Koombana. Captain Upjohn, of the steamer Bullarra, gave evidence that he noticed when the Koombana was leaving Port Headland that she was m particularly good trim, and remarked upon the fact. The only explanation of the affair was that the Koombana was smashed by the force of the cyclone. It was impossible for her to turn turtle.
