THE SHEARERS' COMPLAINT.

Mr D. McßaOj the Shearers' Union organiser, th an interview wijth a Herald reporter this morning,, stated: sL'The shearers simply asked for what they were 1 'entitled to, viz., £1 per 100. and found. This the employers refused, and told the men that if .they ■'. did 'not accept the/ 23s without' "tucker,' 1 ' which was offered, they would turn the sheep out, and they did so. He stated that two other gangs of men had refused to make engagements m the district under somewhat similar circumstances 'to t«he Muriwai trouble, but nothing had been heard of them.
