HOW IT WILL BE ANNOUNCED TO ' THE PEOPLE.
MADRID, March 20*. Spain's happy event is not expected till Hie later days of April. The people here are on tlie gui viye, ap to the number of salutes that will be fired on the eventful day. Fifteen guns will announce a baby girl, but a sixteenth will signify the arrival of the heir, m whose honor a salute of twenty-one guns m all will be fired. In the cas c of a girl a white flag will lie hoisted over the palace, but m that of a boy tlie national flag of red and gold will "be flown. It is officially announced m Rome that the PoDe has consented to be godfather to the child. It is probable. , that the King,Ulie Kaiser, and the Italian Crown Prince will also be sponsors.
