PARIS. March 19. For the first time m perhaps a century, a British military band is to visit France! The fine band" of the Prince of Wale? Own, or West Yorkshire Regiment, will visit Lille on April 10 at the invitation of an influential local committee, which provides the poor children of the town with Christmas toys, clothing, and enter, tainment.

The Englishmen will arrive at Lille iv the afternoon, and all the French military bands of the garrison, the 'small*:.! of which numbers fifty instrumentalists, will meet them at the railway station, and play them to the city hall, the prefecture, and the military headquarters. At each of these places a "champagne d'honueur" will be offered.
