Upbani replacedl Fisher, but the change madb no difference to the scoring. At 3 o'clock the board showed 1 86 for one wicket. Bennett replaced Gallaway. Hill 34, Trumper 42.

At 3.15 tlie .score was 101 for one wic. ket. Trumper 65, Hill 36.

Trumper did most of the scoring. HiJl is batting quietly. At 3.30 the total was 132 for two wickets. Hill, 48; Trumper, c Giraiutm, b Fisher, 84.

Noble was the next batsman, and the rate of scoring slackened. At 3.45 (he total was 146 for two wickets. Hill, not out, 52 ; Noble, not out, 10.
