MUTINY AT MUKDEN.
LONDON, January 28. The London Globe said on Thursday : A week ago a St. Petersburg despatch to the Petit Parisienne stated that theonly news received that day from Mukden was of such grave character tluit the correspondent hesitated! to particularise it without official confirmation. We learn that information reached exceptionally well-informed l quarters in London yesterday to the effect that a serious mutiny had occurred among the Russian hoops at Mukden owing to tlie privations which they were forced 1 to undergo on account of tlie poorness and 1 scarcity of rations and tlve miserable supply of clothing. The Russians authorities are making a. strenuous effort to keep the actual state of affairs secret.
It is understood that the Japanese on the Sliaho aro taking measures to make the Russian troops at the front thoroughlv acquainted! with the scenes of bloodshed which have lately been enacted at St. Petersburg and other towns.
