The U.S.S. Company's s.s. Manuka, from Sydney and Auckland, arrived m the Bay at 12.30 o'clock this afternoon, after a smart passage of 19 hours 35 minutes from the northern port. The steamer proceeds to Southern ports this evening. The Waihi takes off passengers at 5 and 7. Messrs Richardson and Co 's s.s. Fanny arrived 1 from Napier last evening, with a cargo of 17,334 ft timber, 112 rams. 2 horses and sundries. The steamer returns to Napier at 5 o'clock this evening.
The Tyser Line's s.s. Star of Ireland arrives from Dunedin on Friday to load from Messrs Nelson Bros.' works.
Tlie s.s. Sierra arrived' at San Francisco on March 7th at 10 a.m.
The barquentine lima, from Newcastle, arrived at an anchorage m the Bay at. 2 o'clock this afternoon. The vessel will be passed by the health officer this afternoon, and be brought up the river on this evening's tide. The lima brings a cargo of coal consigned to the Gisborne Sheepfarmers' Company. The. auxiliary schooner Waiapu sailed for Pakarae at noon, to-day to load wool. Captain Skinner's new schooner Kaeo arrived from Auckland via Coast ports at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
