Before breakfast to-day the following horses did useful work : Formula, La Gloria, Wellstock, Bacchus, St. Peter, I St. Ursula, Rosella, Winsome, Hastings, Honesty, Cavaliero, Sundial, Employer, Tresham, Terence, Verdi, Ttflrne, Vanquish, and Cannongate. Favona pulled up lam*. Regalia H. jumped the schooling hurdles alone. After breakfast Nor'west, Moifaa, Hairtrigger, Tarragon, Plain Bill, Kaimate, Cannonade, Hinau, Din^o, Coeur de Lion (who is sore), Admired Hawke, Lady Avon, Tupaka, Sylvan as, The. Needle, St. Olga, Mars, Tim, Picklock, Charcoal, Plain Jack, Freewill, Auda, and a large number of lesser lights were given more or less sound pacing work.
