The Island of Trinidade.

Rio de Janiero, Jujy 26. There is much angry talk throughout* Brazil anent the annexation of Trinidade by Great Britain, and anti-Englißh demonstrations have been held here and at San Paulo. [The island of Trinidade, referred to in yesterday's cable message, is situated some 700 miles from the coast of Brazil. There are supposed to be a few inhabitants. The misspelling of the name led to the inference that it was the Island of Trinidad in the West Indies. The area of Trinidade is only about 10 square miles, and the island is seldom visited. It is probable that it -is now required as a coaling station, for the convenience of Bteamere plying between Australia and Great Britain.]
