SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE .
The Union Co.'s s.s. Kawatiri arrived from Westport early this morning, and was landing during the day 200 tons of coal for the local freezing works. The steamer proceeds to Napier at 7 p.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Moa is expected this evening from North, and will sail to-morrow evening at 7 o'clock for Napier. She returns on Thursday morning from Napier, and sails in the evening for Coast ports and Auckland. The Union Co. 'a s.s. Mararoa is expected to leave Auckland to-morrow afternoon, and will arrive here on Wednesday, leaving at 5 pm. for Southern ports, taking passengers at lowest rates. Huddart, Parker and Co. 'a s.s. Tasmania arrives from Sydney and Auckland on Wednesday afternoon. She leaves for Southern ports at 5 p.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Australia leaves Auckland on Wednesday afternoon, and ■will reach here on Friday afternoon. She proceeds on South in the evening. The Australia will be up to time this week, as she is taking the Napier footballers from Napier to Wellington on Saturday.
