AT a Special Meeting of this Council, held on the 17th May, 1595, it was resolved — " That a Special Rate of One Shilling in the £1 be made on the ratable value of the lands iv the following Schedule, for a period of 26 years, for the purpose of providing interest upon a loan of £1400, to be obtained in terms of 'The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,' for the purpose of constructing three roads in tho Arakihi Specia* District." The rate to be an annual recurring rate, and to be due and payable in two equal sums on the first day of July and first day of December in each year. Schedule. ' AT a Special Meeting of this Council, held on the 17th May, 1895, ib was resolved — " That a Special Rate of Three-eighths of a Penny in the £1 be made upon the ratable value of the following lands, for a period of 26 years, for the purpose of providing interest upon a loan of £250, to be obtained in terms of ' The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,' for the purpose of widening and deepening the' Muhunga Creek and Drain." The rate to be an annual recurring rate, and to be duo and payable in two equal instalments on the first day of July aud firsb day of December in each year. Schedule.
