♦ FINAL RESULTS. New Plymouth.— Final : Smith 1782. Trimble 1289, Price 163 Wanganui.— Final : Willis 1669, Carson 1472, Parsons 3G3 ; majority 197. Waitemata : Monk's present majority ia 256. Two small returns are to como which cannot affect result. Buller. — Complete returns: McKenzio-, a majority of 216 over O'Conor. M.^sden: Thompson 19? i). H. Anson 1032. Edex: Mitchelsonloll, Nicoll 1187, Dargaville 814. YVaikato : Cadman 1138, Coates 1082. Waipa : Lang 1889, Peacock 954. Hawke's Bay : Russell 1374, Reardon 1304, Tanner 904. Rangitata : Maslin 1181, Wright 1114, Cnihbertson 249, Graham 20. Port Chalmers : Millar 1748, Allen 1627. Wellington : Through a mistake in addition by the returning officers Mr Vogel's total was not given correctly. He polled 3GOB, and therefore is fifth on the poll. Some 137 electoral rights were issued to seamen, and includiag these the correct totals tor the Wellington election are : Stout 6218, Bell 5773, Duthie 4842, Macdonald 3865, Fraser 3729, Yogel 3608, McLean 3440, Fisher 2385, Dwan 1158, Travers 1093. Of the 16,497 electors on the roll 13,306 recorded their votes. There were 147 informal, principally through not striking out sufficient names. Checking the. rolls is proceeding, and up to the present several instances of dual voting have been detected. It is probable that three informations will bo laid for dual voting in connection with ■ the city election. ; WAIAPU FINAL RESULTS. The two returns which were outstanding when we went to press oh Wednesday have [ come to hand. They are as follows : — , Upper Nuhaka : Carroll 2, DeLautour 7iil> . Pohui : Carroll 8, DeLautour 1. The grand totals now are : Carroll 2200, ' DeLautour 1706. Majority for Carroll : 494.
