Stock Sale.

Messrs Common, Shelton& Co. report: We held our sale at Wairenga-ahika yesterday, when, notwithstanding the very unfavorable weather at present being experie need, there was a good attendance of buyers for cattle, and the prices obtained were fully eq'ial to those realised at our previous sale. 152 head were yarded, of which we sold 138 head at the following prices : — Calves 27s to 31s, yearling heifers 45s to 47s 6d, yearling steers is3s Gd to 60s, cows GOs to 97s 6d, fat cows 117s 6d to 120s, one Alderney heifer 190s.

Sheep. — The roads being almost impassable for sheep prevented several entries coming forward, aud only one lot of 100 old ewes in lamb was penned and realised 8s 6d.
