News from the Soloman Islands states that Natives of the middle group are actively preparing for another raid on the natives of the neighboring islands, and it is feared much bloodshed will again result. March 31. It is now believed that the jamming open of doors in the galleries of the Bulli ioal mine was due to carelessness on the part of workmen, and that there was no attempt made to ullow explosive gasc3 to accumulate. ADELAIDE, Mar 30. A specimen of a true corundum was found on J.j Central Australian field, where also favorable indications were discovered of the existence of rubies, and probably diamonds.
