SOUTHERN CROSS PETOLEUM COY. SHARES.
Ths sale of Southern Cross petroleum shares by Messrs. C. Smith & Co., at their mart to-day, was Very fully attended. A very noticeable fact was the the fluctuation in prices during the sale, the -first lot being knocked down at 9d per share, the prices then rising as high as Is 4d and closing at Is per ■hare.
