AUCKLAND
This Day. At the R.M. Court on Saturday James and William liindon were committed for trial on the charge of arson. Bail was refused.
Speckman, one of the oldest settlers in the Colony, died on Saturday at Whangaroa. He ploughed the first land ploughed in the Colony.
