The shock precipi- ! tated him to the ground, and he was [ picked up and placed in his cab. 3 A policeman took him in charge as - dru^k) and placed him in a cell, and he was given a blanket to sleep on. At 9 o'clock the Sergeant found the prisoner in an unconscious state. [ Medical assistance was procured, and i Andrews was conveyed to the hospital, , but never regained consciousness and expired at noon. The cause of death . was compression on the brain. Anl drews was aged 25, and leaves a wife 3 . and two children. An associate of f his says he saw him at 1.30 on Saturs day morning, when he was quite 3 sober.
