The HinemoQ. brought yesterday 50 sentenced Maori prisoners. They seemed very despondent during the 1 voyage, and were not like the previous lots, singing and making demonstrations. Their faith in Te Whiti seems much shaken. They were taken to Lyttelton Gaol and will be set to work immediately, and treated as ordinary convicts. Other Natives who were in Lyttelton gaol under detention only, have been removed Ripa Island, under the guard of seventeen men of the Armed Constabulary. Those of the force who came in the Hinemoa with the prisoners yesterday, intend resigning on getting back to Wellington, being dissatisfied, not only with the 10 per cent i-eduction, but with the treatment at the camp generally. Campbell Brothers, of Southbridge, have received very encouraging returns of a shipment of oats to England. Aftei paying freight and expenses, and allowing for loss in weight, they netted 3s. 3|d. per bushel.
