The overland line between Adelaide and Port Darwin is down, and consequently telegraphic communication with Europe is interi^ipted.
The Victorian Government has fixed the minimum of a two million loan, and is shortly to be issued in the London market at 101.
Sir Hercules Robinson sailed to-day for England iii the steamer John Elder.
Sir "Win. Mitchell has been reelected President of the Legislative Council.
