6— Rotomahana, s.s., Captain Underwood, for Sydney via Northern Ports. Passengers : — Messrs Andrews, McDonald, Snedden, Archard, and Heim. Cargo: 4 tons.

The s.s. JRotomahana, 1727 tons, Thos. Underwood, arrived -at Gisborne at 12.30 O'clock this morning. She left the Railway Pier at Sandridge at 4 p.m. on the 24th of August, and cleared Port Phillip Heads at 8.20 p.m., and.passed Swan Island at 11.10 R.th7 oh the next day ; experienced fresh easterly winds for th.«tfirst 24 hours after leaving, and thence light southerly winds until she arrived at Hobartdwn, at 4 a.m. on the 26th, left again at 4 p.m. same day, passed the Iron Rot at 4.50 p.m. experienced fresh son therly< winda and fine weather during the run actoss j' sighted the Solanders at 5 p.m. on the 29th, proceeded under slow steam and arrived at the Bluff at ; 6 a.iri. oh the 30th ; left again at 5 p.m. same dayand experienced fresh S.E. winds and thick weather until arrival at Port Chalmers at 7 a.m. on the 31st and sailed at 4 p.m. on: the 2nri,)arrived at Lyttleton at 6.40 a.m. on the 3rd and sailed at 8.30 p.m. ; arrived at Wellington at 9.15 a.m. on the 4th, and sailed at 5.15 p.m. ; arrived at Napier at 10.30 a.m. on' the sth inst. and sailed again at 5 p.m. We are indebted to Mr. L.
