[FROM OUlt OWN OOKHKSrONDKNT.] WELLINGTON. This Day. At the B.M. Court yesterday, John Wilson was committed for trial on a charge of indecently assaulting a girl, six years of age. A mass meeting of the unemployed held last evening, was interfered with by torrents of i*ain, and not more than 150 persons attended- It was decided to petition the Government for work. AUCKLAND. This Day. Tke Board of Education have established a science class for teachers. The Bay of Islands have voted £600 for the extensive of the Russell wharf, so that vessels of the Rotomahana andQTararua class may come alongside at all states of the tide.
