» ■■--■ [from our own correspondent.] MELBOURNE. Friday. There was a lengthy debate on the third reading of the Reform Bill. The House divided at 3 o'clock this morning. There were 43 in favor and 38 against the Bill, which was lost because of there not being an absolute majority of the House in itsfavor. BnttheGovernment contend that there being one seat vacant in consequence of the bankruptcy of Droyer, the statutory majority was obtained. The point will be decided on Tuesday. SYDNEY. Friday. The second reading of the Education Bill has been carried by a majority of 40. ADELAIDE. Friday. The harvest everywhere is beyond anticipation in the North, yielding 13 bushels to an acre.
