PARLIAMENTARY.
[FROM OUR OWN TCOTIUESPONDBNT.] Wellington, This Day. .-. The House met yesterday at 2.30. The whole afternoon sitting rfras occupied with various discussions on the report of the Committee upon telegrams.. sent and received by Ministers respecting the elections report. Report stated that seventy-six telegrama has been Bent and received by the Government on election subjects, and seven others had been paid for. """"■ These were sealed up by the Committee, and they reported that they had been improperly laid on the table. A division took place on the motion by Mr. Speight that the minutes of the Committee be read. The motion was negatived by 41 to 32. A motion by the Premier that the minutes and evidence be prinled was being debated when the House rose for dinner. At the evening Bitting Major Atkinson moved the second reading of the Pro* perty Assessment Bill. The debate was prolonged until 2 o'clock this morning, and was then adjourned. There are vague surmises afloat of some new combination which may result m another Ministerial crisis, but nothing reliable can be ascertained.
