By a return which comes to us among a large batch of parliamentary papers, we learn the total male population of the Colony is 116,008. The number of electors on the roll is 82,271. Of this number, only 43,776 voted at the last general elections, being a trifle over onehalf. So much for the value attached to the franchise.
