The Rules of the Auckland Jockey Club will be strictly adhered to, unless where otherwise specified. No one allowed to nominate unless a subscriber of at least £1 Is to the race fund, except the Hack and Hack Hurdle Races. Three horses to start for each race or only half the stakes will be given. All entries for the Boxing Day Handicap and Handicap Hurdle Race 9to be sealed, and addressed to the Secretary, Waerenga- ) a-hika Hotel, Poverty Bay, before 8 p.m., ) on Wednesday, November 12th, 1879, with entrance money, tbe name, age, and color of the horse, name of the owner and colors of the rider enclosed. j Any Jockey riding m different colors' to those described m his entry shall be fined £1. This rule will be strictly adhered to. Any person entering a protest will be required to deposit £2 with the Stewards, and m the event of such a protest, being by them considered frivolous, the same shall be forfeited to the race fund. No entries will be received for any of the above races except on the following conditions : — That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing, shall bo decided by the Steward?, ?or a majority of them, and their decssibnnipou all points SHALL BE FINAL. .
