[To the Editor of the Herald.] Sir, — Could yon inform me of the exact measurement of the sleeping cells m the Gisborne Gaol, together with the size of their air-holes ? I have recently Bhared one of these cells with a sable brother, and the next cell to ours was tenanted after the same fashion. Thus it is that when I have obtained, the above information, I mean to submit to the public *a few remarks on this urgent subject. — I am, &C, ■ •: ; L. Dirby.
