He won the first prize m 1869 as a yearling, beating two-year-old horses. In 1871, as three-year-old, he also carried off the first prize " against aged horses. In 1872 he carried off the second prize, being- beaten only by President, one of the three newly-imported horses. In 1875 he 1 took the Silver Cup for the best DRAUGHT ENTIRE at the Poverty Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Show. Terms : Single mares, £3 3s. ; two I ' or more the property of the same owner, as per agreement. Groom's fee, 2s. 6d. All care taken, but no responsibility. At the Annual Parade of Entires at Christchurch, Mr. Wallis' Pride of Scotland and Sir Walter Scott and Mr. R. Wilkin's Bill Fair Play, attracted the majority of Visitors. " DISRAELI " is a splendid sample of the mach admired and appreciated I Clydesdale stock, both m Australia and should be sought after and patronised by owners of mares m Poverty Bay.
