LONDON. November 18. The new series of wool aales opened to-day. 73,000 bales were catalogued. Tone of sale very active. Merino's showed 10 per cent advance ; crossbreds 15 per cent advance. Sales close on the 9th of December.
CONSTANTINOPLE. November 18. Baker Pasha (Colonel Valentine Baker) has been appointed to inaugurate a system of reform throughout Turkish Asia.
