Sugars are moving off freely, and all kinds of European merchandise show a hardening tendency. Tallow is m demand at 26s for mutton and 253 for beef. Flour remains about the same, Adelaide offering at £15, and southern at £13 10s to £14 ; maize, 3s 8d to 3s lOd ; oats, glutted and cannot be sold except at a loss, parcels placed at 2s 4d to 2s 6d ; dairy produce is about the same ; Canterbury potatoes, £9 ; new, local IJd per Ib. ; hams and bacon, 8d ; eggs, Is. Sydney, Friday. Hennessey's brandy, case, 355 ; bulk, quarter-cask, 10s; Devoe's kerosene. Is 10£ d. New Zealand wheat, none m market; New Zealand oats, 2a 6d pei bushel ; maize, 2a 8d per bushel ; Sugar Company's No. 1, pieces, £38, candles, D.R.P., Bid. Adelaide, Friday. Wheat, 5s 9d per bushel ; flour, £12 10s to £13s 5s per ton.
