GISBORNE ROWING CLUB.
It has been arranged by the committee of the above Club to hold the first competion of trial fours on Saturday, the 29th instant, at 4 p.mr, crews to be at shed at 3.45 p.m. The following is the detail : — Mermaid. Undine. Carrick ... stroke Denniston stroke Parau ... 3 Major ... 3 Oresswell... 2 W. Graham 2 O'Meara ... bow Bourke ... bow As the crews are very fairly matched, a very even contest may be anticipated. The crews have been subject to a slight alteration since last published, owing to the unfortunate accident to Mr. Dunlop. Mr. Cresswell being elected to take his seat m the Mermaid.
