Will Stand This Season at MakauriThe Celebrated Clydesdale Stallinn "AUCKLAND." A UCKLAND is by Major, out of a i\ Lincoln mare. He won the first prize m 1869 as a yearling, beating two-year-old horses. In 1871, as three-year-old, he also carried off the first prize against aged horses. In 1872 he carried off the second prize, being beaten only by President, one of the three newly-imported horses. In 1875 he took the Silver Cup for the best DRAUGHT ENTIRE at the Poverty Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Show. Terms: Single mares, £3 3s. ; two or more the property of the same owner, as per agreement. Groom's fee, 2s. 6d. All care taken, but no responsibility. ' To Stand this Season at Matawhero. The Thoroughbred Emire Horse TEEGEAGLE 11. Tregeagle was a first-class performer on the English turf, and is without doubt as well bred as any horae m the world. In spite of few opportunities with thoroughbred mares, he is the sire of Tubal Cain, Impudence (winner of the Adelaide Cup). Tolarno, Levant, Device, Superstition, Doctor, and Talisker, while from inferior mares he has got such performers as Landsdowne (winner of the V.R.O. Steeplechase), Encounter, Middleton, &c. Terms : £3 10s single mares ; a reduction made for two or more mares the property of the one owner. Groomage, ss. All fees must be paid before removal of mares. Good paddooking free till notice of removal, after which time 6s per week will be charged. All mares to be removed by the Ist January, 1880. All care teken but no responsibility. At the Annual Parade of Entires at Chriatchurch, Mr. Wallis' Pride of Scotj land and Sir Walter Scott and Mr. R. Wilkin's Bill Fail Play, attracted the majority of Visitors. " DISRAELI " is a splendid sample of the mach admired and appreciated Clydesdale stock, both m Australia and should be sought after and patronised by owners of mares m Poverty Bay.
