He won the first prize in 1869 as a yearling, beating two-year-old horses. •In 1871, as three-year-old, he also carried off the first prize against aged horses. In 1872 he carried, off the second prize, being beaten only by 1 President, one of the three newly-imported horses. In 1875 he took the Silver Cup for the best DRAUGHT ENTIRE at the Poverty Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society's Show. Terms: Single mares, £3 3s. ; two or more the property, of the same owner, as per agreement. Groom's fee, 2s. 6d. All care taken, but no responsibility.
