As a two-year-old, he took 2nd prize at the Grand National at Melbourne, Ist at Ballarat, 2nd at the Grand I National at Smeaton, Ist at Myrniong, : Ist at Melton as best entire of any age, and Ist for best two-year-old colt. In 1876, at the Hawke's Bay Show, he took Ist prize m his class ; also, the Champion Prize and tifty guinea Cup as the Best Entire m the yard. In 1877 and 1878 he again took Ist prize and the Champion Prizes at the Hawke's Bay Show. Fee, £5 10s. A reduction made on two or more mares the property of one 1 owner.
