[from our own correspondent.] LONDON. October 11. Count Schouvaloff, Russian Ambassador, has returned to his post at London. The Union Bank announces a loan of £80,000 for the completion oi the Christchnrch Cathedral. The tallow market is firm at advancing rates. Mutton, inferior, 30s to 35s ; finest, 35s 6d to 365. Beef, inferfor, 31s to 32s ; medium, 32s 6d to 33 ; 349 to 355. The corn market is strong with an upward tendency. Australian wheat is selling, ex store, at 57s to 59s ; ex ship Crownthorpe, 58s. CALCUTTA. October 14. General Roberts, with Yakoob Khan, entered Cabul on the 12th instant. The tribes are returning to their homes.
