As a two-year-old, he took 2nd prize at the Gr;uid National at Melbourne, Ist at Ballarat, 2nd at the Grand National at Smeaton, Ist at Myrniong, Ist at Melton as best entire of any age, and Ist for best two-year-old colt. In 1876, at the Hawke's Bay Show, he took Ist prize m his class ; also, the Champion Prize and fifty guinea Cup as the Best Eh tiro m the yard.
